Senior Lead, AI Governance

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Lead, AI Governance to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will shape and lead the governance framework that supports responsible AI adoption across the organization. The Senior Lead will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate AI use cases, translate policy into practical operating standards, and strengthen risk management as AI capabilities continue to evolve. In addition, this leader will guide a team of specialists, provide clear visibility to leadership, and help ensure governance practices scale with business needs. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of AI Governance specialists Create and maintain engagement models, service templates, and quality standards Support stakeholders with reviews of AI applications across various domains Collaborate with teams to operationalize data governance and security requirements Provide clear reporting to leadership on adoption metrics and risks Monitor and adapt to evolving AI capabilities and regulations Guide stakeholders toward informed decisions through prescriptive guidance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience 8+ years in AI governance, technology governance, or related areas 3+ years of leadership experience in customer-facing roles Ability to translate policy and risk requirements into actionable procedures Familiarity with generative AI and enterprise AI platforms Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills Experience in data governance and security best practices Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays and Flexible Time Off (FTO) Programs focused on wellness and financial security Opportunities for professional growth Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
