• Establishing and guiding the website's architecture.
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
• Ensuring high-performance, availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Implementing effective, responsive design and turning it into a working application.
• Develop Clean, fast and mobile friendly website.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality outcomes in an agile environment.
• Hands-on experience in development and maintenance of Wordpress applications is an added advantage.

Skills

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.
• An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
• 5+ years experience in Laravel framework-based development, including developing modules, web services and APIs.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, client-side scripting and jQuery.
• A good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database.
• A proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• A basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop or invision is a plus.
• A proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• A good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
• Excellent Testing/Debugging skills.
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Good communication skills.

Qualifications

• UG: BCA or Bachelor of Engineering (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology)
• PG: MCA or Similar
