Senior Laboratory Assistant, Bioanalysis

About the role

The LabOps team manages and optimizes all aspects of the Lab Environment, including Lab Management, Process Optimization, Compliance and Safety, Resource Allocation & Coordination, and Communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily routine tasks, such as monitoring and re-stocking inventory in labs and storage areas, and equipment management.
• Records tasks in electronic lab notebooks.
• Adapts to modified schedules to support weekends and additional activities.
• Anticipates and addresses potential problems, presenting them to supervisors and devising strategies for improvement.
• Provides guidance and assistance to others on non-routine or escalated issues.
• Communicates effectively with all functions and levels within the organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 2 - 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A 2-year college degree may be preferred.
• Experience in inventory management is a plus.

Pay

Salary Range (hourly): $30.24 - $47.36
