About the role
The LabOps team manages and optimizes all aspects of the Lab Environment, including Lab Management, Process Optimization, Compliance and Safety, Resource Allocation & Coordination, and Communication.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily routine tasks, such as monitoring and re-stocking inventory in labs and storage areas, and equipment management.
- Records tasks in electronic lab notebooks.
- Adapts to modified schedules to support weekends and additional activities.
- Anticipates and addresses potential problems, presenting them to supervisors and devising strategies for improvement.
- Provides guidance and assistance to others on non-routine or escalated issues.
- Communicates effectively with all functions and levels within the organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 2 - 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A 2-year college degree may be preferred.
- Experience in inventory management is a plus.
