Senior Labor & Employment Associate (Labor Focus)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment attorney to join a growing, high-performing team focused on traditional labor matters. The role involves advising employers on complex labor relations, leading collective bargaining negotiations, handling grievance arbitration, representing clients in labor disputes and administrative proceedings, and partnering with business leaders to deliver practical, strategic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on a wide range of traditional labor issues, including union relations and workforce strategy
• Lead and support collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration
• Handle grievances and arbitration proceedings from strategy through resolution
• Represent clients in labor disputes and administrative proceedings, including matters before federal agencies
• Partner with clients and internal teams to proactively manage risk and navigate complex workplace challenges
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while managing multiple matters in a fast-paced setting

Requirements

• 7-8 years of experience in labor & employment law, with a strong focus on traditional labor
• Hands-on experience with collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and union environments
• Exposure to NLRB matters or similar administrative proceedings is highly valued

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly)
• JD from an accredited law school
