About the role
The Senior Knowledge Management Attorney - Private Funds leads the development and execution of knowledge management strategy within a leading asset management practice. The role focuses on enhancing knowledge systems, maintaining precedents, and ensuring the practice remains aligned with evolving market and regulatory developments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge management systems to support the legal team's operations.
- Create, organize, and update internal resources, templates, and precedents to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to identify knowledge-sharing opportunities and implement best practices.
- Conduct training sessions to familiarize the team with knowledge management tools and resources.
- Analyze and interpret legal trends to provide insights and updates for internal use.
- Support the development of innovative solutions to improve client service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all knowledge management processes.
- Act as a point of contact for knowledge management inquiries and provide expert guidance as needed.
Requirements
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain knowledge resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in asset management or related legal field is preferred.
- Experience in knowledge management, precedent maintenance, and regulatory compliance is beneficial.
