About the Role

This position delivers installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential plumbing systems. The role supports business operations by diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing issues, executing high-quality workmanship, and providing professional guidance to customers. The Senior Plumbing Service Journeyman ensures reliability of critical plumbing infrastructure while upholding safety standards, regulatory requirements, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, repair, and replace pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the water supply and waste disposal systems.
• Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve them efficiently.
• Operate various tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, reamers, threading machines, and welding equipment.
• Maintain an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain plumbing fixtures and piping.
• Provide rough estimates to customers on the cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning fixtures or piping.
• Promote the sale of other services offered by Constellation Home to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and applicable electrical and plumbing requirements during installation and repair, identifying and correcting issues as needed.
• Deliver professional customer service to customers. Clearly explain findings, recommended repairs, and system improvements to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Journeyman Plumbing license
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of residential plumbing service, including local plumbing and gas codes, tools, and materials
• Advanced skills in the servicing of hot water and steam boilers
• Advanced ability in the usage of sewer cleaning machines
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Average physical ability (bending, stopping, and climbing ladders)
• Ability to lift and carry objects of various weights
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• 5-years of work experience in Plumbing OR
• 4-years of work experience in Plumbing and 1-year related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid gas fitter's license

Pay

Expected hourly range of $33.92 to $41.46, varies based on experience. This role has additional earning potential through voluntary overtime and task work opportunities, with a total compensation potential of $100,000 per year.
