About the Role

micro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire experienced journalists, editors, and writers from top publications. This is hands-on editorial work: evaluating AI-generated writing for clarity, accuracy, structure, and style at the standard of a professional newsroom, and creating reference work that sets the bar.

Role Type: Contractor | Location: Remote

Scope of Work

• Evaluate AI-generated writing for quality, accuracy, tone, and structure
• Write and edit reference pieces that define excellent output
• Provide detailed editorial feedback and rewrites
• Help shape writing standards for AI systems

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an editor, writer, or journalist at a reputable publication (WSJ, NYT, Reuters, or comparable), with at least part of this experience within the past 7 years
• Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university
• Based in an English-speaking country
• Exceptional command of written English
