Senior JavaScript SDK Developer (web3)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled JavaScript SDK developer to join our web3 team at Horizon Blockchain Games, a startup that raised $40 million in 2022. The ideal candidate will work on the Sequence SDK team, developing JavaScript libraries and SDKs that empower game studios to use Sequence Wallet or other web3 wallets.

About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic, English-speaking team working on long-term projects for customers primarily in the USA and Canada. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions and scalable web applications with a focus on clean architecture and modern tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining JavaScript libraries and SDKs for web3 games
• Collaborating with the Sequence SDK team to ensure compatibility and functionality
• Working with React, design systems, and state management
• Contributing to open-source projects and attending local meetups

Requirements

• Experience with monorepos and web3 libraries such as viem, wagmi, and ethers
• Experience writing and distributing npm packages, libraries, and SDKs
• Experience with React, design systems, and state management
• Experience working with blockchain technology or Ethereum

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of web3 concepts and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
