Role: Senior Java Full Stack React JS Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Full-Time

Job Summary

Senior Java Full Stack React JS Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end application lifecycle management—from technical design and development to deployment and maintenance. Working within a collaborative Scrum environment, the candidate will drive the delivery of large-scale, enterprise-grade Java/Spring Boot products while recommending process improvements.

Full Stack Development

  • Design, develop, deploy, and test Java-based solutions utilizing Java EE, Spring/Spring Boot (Core, MVC), Hibernate, JPA, and ReactJS.
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance REST and SOAP web services.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and update existing Spring Boot applications.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale, enterprise-level Java/Spring Boot-based products.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve existing Java application processes and workflows.

Architecture & Design

  • Participate in software and architectural development activities, creating robust technical designs for new application development initiatives.

Web Services

  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance REST and SOAP web services.

Application Maintenance

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and update existing Spring Boot applications.

Product Delivery

  • Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale, enterprise-level Java/Spring Boot-based products.

Process Optimization

  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve existing Java application processes and workflows.

Agile Collaboration

  • Work as an active development team member within Scrum and Agile SAFe environments.

Technical Skills

  • Backend Java (Spring Boot)
  • Python (ETL, Data Pipelines, Scripting)

  • Frontend React JS/TypeScript
  • Cloud / Infrastructure AWS (S3, IAM, RDS, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, OpenSearch)

  • GitCI/CD Pipelines

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $61087 - $104364
