About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support highly scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with engineering teams, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders. Experience in wealth management, brokerage, or financial services is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Java applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and React 19.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
- Develop enterprise web applications using React 19, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, React Hooks, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Implement and maintain enterprise databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB).
- Integrate Devin AI for code generation, debugging, automated testing, code refactoring, documentation, and developer productivity.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.
- Optimize application performance and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on full-stack Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with React 19, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, React Hooks, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS).
- Proficiency in using Devin AI for software development, including integration into the software development lifecycle while adhering to enterprise security and governance standards.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Financial Services applications.
- Experience working within Wells Fargo Advisors or Wealth & Investment Management (WIM).
- Knowledge of advisor workstations, client onboarding, portfolio management, trading platforms, or investment advisory systems.
- Experience implementing enterprise security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and SAML.
- Experience with Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms.
- Experience working in highly regulated financial environments.
