Senior Java Full Stack Developer

CGI is looking to hire a Full Stack Java (Angular focused development) specialist to build secure, scalable, and high performance RESTful and event-driven APIs, working on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in the US in a challenging technical environment with exposure to advanced tools and technology suites. This position is located at the client site five days a week in either Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement front-end Angular user interfaces and API/microservices (backend components).
• Build user interfaces with AngularJS and Node.js (JavaScript framework).
• Develop and unit test Java RESTful services that integrate with external client systems.
• Analyze user requirements and define technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks.
• Create technical designs for new systems and/or modifications to existing systems.
• Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs.
• Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts.
• Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years overall experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience with Java, Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD server.
• 3+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services, Java/J2EE development with REST API, Spring Boot, OpenShift Container, Angular, XML, JSON, UML, Jenkins, and Swagger.
• 3+ years building containerized microservices and deploying container apps.
• Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code.
• Experience using Agile methodologies for developing applications.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 – $156,700.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, and CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
