Senior Java Developer (Hybrid)

About The Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Java Developer with minimum of 6+ years of experience who can help the team prioritize, build, and ship the most impactful features to our customers. The ideal candidate is a technical professional who has deep understanding and hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker. Familiarity with RESTful web services, microservices, and database concepts (SQL/PLSQL, Oracle) to drive innovation and efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to impactful projects that align with the company’s vision.

Responsibilities

• Core Java/J2EE development.
• Developing the application using Spring boot, REST APIs, and Micro services.
• Deal with Spring framework.
• Message Queue Implementation.
• AI Tool Integration.
• QA and UAT support.

Requirements

• 6+ Years of proven experience.
• Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hibernate, Micro Services, and REST API.
• Oracle, No SQL DB, and Kafka/Messaging system.
• Build and deployment, AI Integration (Nice to have).

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Possess the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Bring a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies as needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.

Salary And Compensation

The annual salary for this position will be between $60,000 to $93,000 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
