About the role

Seeking a seasoned software developer with 7+ years of experience in Java and Object-Oriented Design, specializing in cloud-native applications on AWS, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, microservices, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services such as Kafka, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices following best practices in object-oriented design.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery processes, including automated testing and code reviews.
  • Adhere to security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and secrets management.
  • Contribute to the team's success through effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Java programming and Object-Oriented Design principles.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
