Senior IT Systems Analyst, ERP and Financial Systems

Skills

• Strong hands-on ERP and financial systems experience
• Familiarity with Epicor and at least one of Hyperion, NetSuite, OneStream
• Experience working in a SOX-compliant, heavily audited environment
• Understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Close & Reporting)
• Experience building and modifying integrations using API and other file transfer protocols
• Experience supporting systems integrations and process support
• Strong documentation, process-mapping, and communication skills

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst supporting ERP and financial systems
• Preferred Epicor or other ERP experience
• Experience in multi-entity or acquired-company environments
• Exposure to system decommissioning, data archiving, or ERP modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with automation or integration tools (API, Gen AI, FTP)
• ERP or financial systems certifications (Epicor, NetSuite, Hyperion, OneStream)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior analyst supporting Epicor ERP, Hyperion, NetSuite, and other financial reporting/consolidation platforms like A2Z, Salesforce, etc.
• Analyze and stabilize manual processes, identifying opportunities for automation and system optimization
• Own and support system integrations, reconciliation, and data validation between ERP and reporting tools
• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across multiple systems
• Support SOX compliance, including ITGCs, application controls, and audit evidence preparation
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation (process flows, narratives, control descriptions)
• Act as a key liaison during internal and external audit teams
• Lead functional analysis for enhancements, upgrades, and fixes; support UAT and deployments
• Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and improve processes

This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and operational efficiency across systems including Epicor, Hyperion, NetSuite, and a potential implementation of OneStream. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on ERP and financial systems experience, is comfortable navigating manual processes and complex integrations, and can serve as a trusted partner to Finance, IT, and Audit.
