Senior IT Systems Administrator – Rock Island, IL Join OM Group’s mission-focused team at Rock Island Arsenal and help sustain the secure intelligence infrastructure that supports Army Materiel Command’s global mission. The Senior IT Systems Administrator provides day-to-day administration, maintenance, security, and user support for the JWICS environment. Responsibilities Administer Windows and/or Linux servers, manage user accounts, install patches, and apply STIGsManage and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and network connectivityProvide Tier 1/2 support for account resets, software issues, and VTC setup and troubleshootingSchedule, verify, and monitor JWICS VTC sessions and help resolve scheduling conflictsSupport installation and testing of VTC and VOIP equipment and provide basic user trainingMonitor security logs and alerts and assist with incident response and remediationMaintain system backups and support disaster recovery testingSupport COMSEC activities, technical documentation, cross-location service delivery, and escalation to senior specialists or external providers Requirements 10 years experienceBA/BSHands-on experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise systems and networks in a secure environmentExperience and education thresholds: [confirm the applicable ITES-3S labor category and minimum qualifications before posting]Current IAT Level II qualification and duty-relevant certifications meeting the PWS’s DoD 8570/8140 requirements for the assigned rolePractical skills in Windows and/or Linux administration, patching, STIG implementation, and network device troubleshootingExperience with COMSEC, secure-environment customer support, and VTC troubleshootingActive Top Secret/SCI clearance; must maintain clearance throughout employment on the contractU.S. citizenshipAbility to work onsite full time at Rock Island Arsenal, IL, provide cross-location technical support, and travel as requiredAbility to work an eight-hour schedule Monday–Friday aligned with customer operating hours and support approved mission needs outside normal duty hoursCONTINGENT UPON AWARDCompensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $100,000 to $125,000 OM Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) committed to compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
