Senior IT Recruiter
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Recruiter to join a scientific instrument manufacturing organization in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for a talent acquisition specialist who can lead technical hiring efforts, partner closely with business leaders, and deliver a thoughtful, inclusive candidate experience in a hybrid work setting. The role primarily focuses on technology recruiting while also offering the chance to support additional hiring needs across the business as priorities evolve.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for a wide range of technical openings, including positions in software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, analytics, and digital product teams.
- Create and implement targeted sourcing plans that use talent market research, competitive insights, and proactive outreach to attract candidates with relevant experience.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to shape recruiting strategies, align on candidate profiles, and support informed selection decisions.
- Provide guidance on interview practices, market conditions, and effective hiring approaches to improve recruitment outcomes across teams.
- Foster strong working relationships with IT leadership, HR colleagues, and cross-functional partners to ensure a coordinated hiring process.
- Promote fair and inclusive recruitment methods that expand candidate pipelines and support equitable evaluation practices.
- Maintain requisitions, candidate activity, and recruiting metrics within Workday to support accurate reporting and process visibility.
- Contribute to talent acquisition projects and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen efficiency, consistency, and the overall hiring experience.
- Participate in occasional travel for meetings, team collaboration, or recruiting-related events as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
- At least five years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including a minimum of three years focused on IT or other technical hiring.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for senior-level and hard-to-fill technical positions across multiple locations or business markets.
- Strong ability to evaluate technical candidates and provide credible recommendations to hiring teams and leadership.
- Proven experience building trusted partnerships with hiring managers and senior business leaders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Workday Recruiting or similar applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices and an understanding of modern technology team structures and functions.
