Senior IT Project Manager – Data & Analytics

About the Role

Seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver Data & Analytics and data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise data projects, Agile delivery, budgets, requirements, risks, and stakeholder engagement. This is a project management role; hands-on coding is not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Data & Analytics projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, requirements, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, architecture, technology teams, and managed service providers.
• Drive Agile delivery and provide project status to leadership and steering committees.
• Ensure effective requirements management and successful delivery of business outcomes.
• Oversee projects involving enterprise data platforms and modern analytics technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of IT Project Management / technical delivery experience.
• Strong experience delivering Data & Analytics or data platform projects.
• Strong Agile project delivery experience.
• Experience with two or more platforms such as SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, SAP BTP, Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAS, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle and data platform delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder, requirements, budget, risk, and project governance skills.
• Ability to understand technical/data concepts without hands-on development experience.

Qualifications

• Utility/energy industry experience preferred.
• Local candidates preferred; hybrid onsite in Rosemead, CA.
