About the role
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team, contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our enterprise cloud platform. They will be responsible for working closely with various stakeholders, including our experienced engineering team, Cloud Operations, Security, Compliance, and other key partners.
Responsibilities
- Support architecture for complex applications ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Implement best practices in coding with support of AI.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain platforms.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS and Azure).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, QA, etc.).
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Build and help transform container and serverless architectures, such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Services), Docker and Azure Functions.
- Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations.
- Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments.
- Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data.
- Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure setups.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and methodologies.
- Participate in project planning and execution.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables.
- Explore generative AI technologies to enhance software capabilities.
- Deploy AI models for automated content generation and predictive analytics.
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline, prefer enterprise engineering experience or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with AI and Generative AI technologies or equivalent.
- Experience with Application and Infrastructure Operations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python or powershell) for automation tasks and infrastructure management.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management, including writing and maintaining modules.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), including creating and managing pipelines.
- Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures.
- Experience with administration and upgrade of Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS), ensuring performance and compatibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success.
