Senior IT Manager - AI Innovation & Engineering

For our client, a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery.

About the role

You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop AI engineering squads, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement
• Define AI priorities and roadmaps alongside business and technology leaders
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering, testing, and performance
• Manage project plans and team capacity to ensure successful delivery of AI initiatives
• Foster strong relationships with business customers and communicate strategic recommendations
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies to influence the company's AI strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
• 8-10 years experience in AI or software engineering initiatives, with significant time in people management
• Direct experience managing engineering talent, including managing managers or squad leads
• Familiarity with the company’s business and application data domains is a plus
• Hands-on programming background in Java and/or Python, with experience in software architecture and engineering

Pay

$113,507 – $198,612 annually
