Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale, cloud-native data pipelines and curated datasets that support complex business, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Engineer secure, auditable, and defensible data extracts to support high-risk legal, litigation, and compliance use cases.
- Build and maintain scalable ELT and ETL workflows across enterprise and cloud analytics platforms to support batch and large-scale processing.
- Partner closely with Legal, Market Analytics, Enterprise Technology, and Data Engineering teams to translate complex data requests into reliable technical solutions.
- Establish and champion best practices in data engineering, including automation, testing, monitoring, documentation, and governance.
- Ensure appropriate data security, lineage, retention, and chain-of-custody controls for sensitive legal and regulatory datasets.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex data engineering, platform, and risk-related challenges.
- Contribute to enterprise data modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to cloud-based analytics environments.
- Lead through influence by setting standards, improving processes, and enabling repeatable, production-ready data frameworks.
- Provide informal mentorship and technical guidance to analysts and partner teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or advanced analytics roles.
- Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Teradata, Python, SQL coding, Databricks, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Prior PBM/PBS experience and/or knowledge.
- Proven experience building secure, auditable data pipelines supporting legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and documentation practices.
- Ability to operate independently on complex, ambiguous, and high-risk initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
