Senior IP Counsel

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a global intellectual property strategy aligned with business goals
• Build and maintain a strategic international patent portfolio for proprietary technologies
• Partner with internal teams for invention identification and patent protection support
• Implement a global trademark strategy to protect brand assets during market expansion
• Educate internal stakeholders on IP best practices and foster a culture of innovation
• Monitor industry trends and conduct IP landscape assessments to identify risks and opportunities
• Assist with IP enforcement and commercial contracting related to intellectual property

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 7+ years of experience in intellectual property law, particularly patent work in software and gaming
• Demonstrated experience managing global patent portfolios
• Familiarity with trademark portfolios and brand asset management
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements including technology and licensing provisions
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Pay

$180,000 – $210,000 annually
