Senior iOS Developer

About the role

Corporate Tools is hiring a Senior iOS Developer for a fully remote position. While remote, you're welcome to work from one of our offices in Post Falls, ID; Spokane, WA; Austin, TX; or Salt Lake City, UT. This is a traditional full-time (40 hours/week) employee role with a salary of $150,000/year. At this time, we are only able to support employees who are US residents.

We develop business tool apps that serve millions of users, offering services like domains, phone lines, emails, business entity maintenance, licenses, and mail handling. Our second phone line app prioritizes privacy and encryption, aiming to protect user communications on inherently non-private hardware and infrastructure. This role involves tackling complex challenges in privacy-focused mobile development.

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Developer who writes high-quality code and brings innovative ideas to the team. You thrive on asking, “What if we did it this way instead?” and enjoy introducing new tools, workflows, and creative solutions that elevate the entire team. You’re passionate about continuous learning—whether through side projects, experimenting with new frameworks, or pushing boundaries—and you share those insights to mentor and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Develop exciting new mobile applications for iOS from the ground up.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate existing technologies (APIs) into mobile applications.
• Architect and lead the full lifecycle of iOS applications, from development to market release.
• Mentor other iOS engineers through constructive code reviews and career development.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automatic deployment and testing of applications.
• Work with stakeholders to devise solutions that align with product goals and user needs.
• Operate in an agile environment with a focus on continuous integration and product development lifecycles.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or four years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining complex iOS applications.
• Proficiency with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, SwiftUI, and Swift 6, including Structured Concurrency.
• Strong experience with XCTest / Swift Testing frameworks for unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Deep knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
• Comfortable using Git for version control with strong Git hygiene practices.
• Experience leading iOS engineers, including mentoring and code reviews.
• Familiarity with product-driven development and agile methodologies.
• Based in the United States (or a similar time zone).
• You’re a pleasant person to work with and passionate about privacy and user protection.
