Key Responsibilities

  • Working under direct supervision to assist in the underwriting of new funds and co-investments, monitoring existing book of fund/SMAs exposure and co-investments as part of a collaborative team
  • Provide input into the analysis of existing portfolio of funds, SMAs and co-investment exposure
  • Aid in the review of structure and negotiation of terms
  • Aid in the completion of legal documentation with internal and external legal counsel
  • Support the analysis of geopolitical impacts
  • Take an active role in the development of investment theses materials for investment committee presentation
  • Aid in the ongoing monitoring of the securities portfolio
  • Review credit and sector fundamentals
  • Aid in the early identification of emerging issues or risks
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding relative value, sector analysis, asset class dynamics and portfolio construction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external business partners for deal flow and market color
  • Create streamlined reporting and produce portfolio reports as needed
  • Aid in data management and maintenance

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of fixed income and financial concepts
  • Understanding of economics and capital markets
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Composed and decisive under pressure or when challenged
  • Driven, self-motivated, and intellectually inquisitive
  • Creative, organized, responsive, and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel and other Office applications
  • General understanding of technology including databases and other data analysis applications
  • Proficiency with fixed income analytics applications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferable
  • Chartered Financial Analyst desired
  • 4 to 7 years of related investment experience

$106,500.00 - $177,500.00

Schedule

Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
