Senior Investment Analyst

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support and, as appropriate, lead investment due diligence across asset classes including equity, hedge funds, fixed income, private equity, and others.
  • Prepare analysis and materials for investment committee review and presentations.
  • Attend regular diligence meetings and calls with current and potential investment managers.
  • Aid in the portfolio construction, reporting, and ongoing management of investment strategies.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external investment communications, including presentations, commentaries, and investment reports.
  • Support responses to client-related investment inquiries and reporting needs.
  • May represent the investment team in external meetings with clients and other constituents.

Required Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (finance preferred.)
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time investment experience at an RIA, MFO, endowment/foundation, or similar institution.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst™ (CFA) designation preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfort with learning analytical software systems such as Bloomberg, Addepar, FactSet and Morningstar Direct.
  • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated investment judgment and a sustained interest in investments.
  • Ability to invest alongside clients, including in private equity and hedge fund allocations.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute within a high-performing team.
  • Ability to exude the True North core values.
