We need to produce HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate. Must preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the posting.
Key info:
- Senior investment analyst, in-office downtown Detroit, starting at $100,000, part of pay tied to performance.
- Pay has three parts: base starting at $100k goes up with experience, monthly performance bonus, profit share after year one.
- Not entry-level, two-step application: apply here and send short video. One without the other doesn't get interview. Need to tell why you'd be good, then pick one stock you have real opinion on and tell why you're right. Video can be anywhere (Google Drive, Dropbox, unlisted YouTube). Email link to hello@briefs.co with subject line Senior Investment Analyst - Video Submission. If you have published research or writing you can share, send that too. Phone camera fine, kitchen, one take, whatever you're wearing.
- Briefs Finance produces top five financial podcast, trusted names in financial news and education. Premium research product built on three report franchises: growth, income, wealth preservation. Job is to make those reports good enough that serious people happily pay for them year after year.
- What you'll own: back your own judgment, paid on whether it was right, own picks instead of supporting somebody else's. This is the seat that owns picks. You will carry your own theses and be measured on whether they worked. Find the shift before consensus. Read macro, go where money is starting to move, talk to people actually doing the work, come back with a theme worth digging into. Then do the numbers, because a trend is not a position. Once you have the theme, go company by company until you can say which one and why. You own theses end to end, from filings and transcripts and channel checks through to a recommendation you are willing to defend in a room. You take independent, non-consensus views when the work supports it, and you show your work. You hand our editors research they can publish without losing the argument. And you sharpen the research system and the AI tools built on top of it, including the Briefs Score. Ship research-grade output on a recurring deadline. The reports go out whether or not the week cooperated. You will know what you're measured on. The revenue and the renewals of the research product your work drives, and whether your picks beat their benchmark. We track individual picks internally and we audit them. If the product wins because of you, you make more.
- What you don't own: This is not commentary, not content, not a support role for somebody else's research. You are not writing the articles. You are producing the research the articles are built on.
- Who you are: You have picked investments with real money, or you have a personal track record you can show us and walk us through line by line. Time in a seat matters less to us than that. If you cannot identify a good investment, nothing else on a resume fixes it. You have macroeconomic fluency. You build a coherent top-down view across growth, inflation, rates, policy, FX and geopolitics, and you translate it into sector and single-name opportunities. You are hands-on with the major AI tools, Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. We build with AI every day and this is not optional here. You are comfortable on the road and comfortable in the room. Part of this job is sitting across from an operator or an executive and getting a real conversation rather than the investor relations version of one. You are willing to do primary research in person, including travel. You are not a pushover. You will work alongside our Head of Investing Research and you will sometimes disagree with him. We want someone who can hold their ground and make the case.
- Strongly preferred: Real money-management experience, whether buy side, RIA and wealth, or proprietary trading. RIA backgrounds are welcome here, because your job was picking and picking is our job too. Coverage depth in one or more of our sectors, semis and cyber and tech, space, robotics, defense, energy, plus thematic and ETF fluency. Strength in income and in wealth preservation specifically, since our growth and income work is solid and wealth preservation is where we most want to get better. Data tools, Python or SQL, financial data APIs, screening. Open-source AI models such as Qwen, Gemma, MiniMax and DeepSeek.
- About Briefs Finance: mission to help 1.3 billion people be better with money. We need to produce sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We need to decide which sections have real specific content.
- About the role: we have description of role: senior investment analyst, in-office downtown Detroit, starting at $100k, part of pay tied to performance, etc. So we can put that.
- Responsibilities: we have many bullet-like statements: own theses, find shift before consensus, read macro, talk to people, do numbers, go company by company, own theses end to end, take independent views, show work, hand editors research, sharpen research system and AI tools, ship research-grade output on recurring deadline, know what measured on (revenue, renewals, picks beat benchmark), etc. So we can list responsibilities.
- Requirements: we have "Who you are" and "Strongly preferred". Could be requirements: picked investments with real money or personal track record, macroeconomic fluency, hands-on with major AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), comfortable on road and in room, willing to do primary research including travel, not a pushover, able to hold ground, etc. Also strongly preferred: real money-management experience, coverage depth in sectors, strength in income and wealth preservation, data tools Python/SQL, financial data APIs, screening, open-source AI models.
- Qualifications: maybe overlapping with requirements. Could separate: Qualifications could be education? Not mentioned. Could skip if no specific.
- Skills: could list specific skills: macroeconomic fluency, AI tools proficiency, Python/SQL, financial data APIs, screening, open-source AI models, sector coverage, etc.
- Benefits: Not explicitly mentioned besides pay components. Could include profit share after year one, monthly performance bonus, base salary increase with experience. But those are pay. Benefits maybe none else. Could we create Benefits section? The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. It does state pay components, but not benefits like health insurance, etc. So we should not create Benefits unless there is explicit benefit info. There's none. So omit Benefits.
- Pay: we have base starting at $100k, monthly performance bonus, profit share after year one. So we can include Pay section.
- Schedule: Not mentioned (full-time, in-office). Could infer in-office but not explicit schedule like hours. Probably not include Schedule.
Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills, Pay. Possibly Qualifications if we want to separate education/track record. But we have "Who you are" which is more like qualifications. Could treat that as Qualifications. Requirements could be the strongly preferred items. Let's decide.
We need to avoid filler. Provide substantive content.
Let's craft:
