Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor for an assigned group of wealth management and financial planning clients
- Build and deepen client relationships through exceptional service and strategic financial guidance
- Collaborate with senior financial planning professionals on complex planning engagements
- Support business development efforts through referrals, professional relationships, and personal networks
- Promote the firm’s full suite of advisory and planning services to prospective and existing clients
- Partner with the wealth management team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients
- Work collaboratively across the organization to support client needs and overall team success
- Provide support to other members of the Deschutes team as needed
- Contribute ideas and participate actively in a highly collaborative office culture
- Maintain proficiency and stay current with key systems and platforms including: Charles Schwab, eMoney, Orion, Wealthbox, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Maintain required continuing education standards for CFP® and licensing requirements
- Participate in occasional company-sponsored conferences, training, and educational events, including some overnight travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as an Investment Advisor or in a comparable advisory role
- Active Series 65 license
- CFP® designation required
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients, executives, and business owners
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial planning software such as eMoney (or similar platforms)
