About the role
The Senior Investigative Analyst (Sr. IA) is a key position in the Asset Protection Department. This role involves reducing shrink through investigation, restitution, and vendor partnership management. The Sr. IA also supports background checks and collaborates with various teams within the department.
Responsibilities
- Reduce shrink through internal/external theft investigations and restitution procedures.
- Analyze data from POS, internal investigations, RFID, and background checks to identify trends and patterns.
- Manage vendor partnerships and restitution processes.
- Support background check operations.
- Collaborate on special projects involving various Asset Protection teams and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in retail or asset protection.
- 5 years’ experience conducting retail investigations with a focus on internal/external theft and ORC.
- 2 years’ experience managing complex projects and vendor partnerships.
- Advanced understanding of POS analysis, inventory systems, case management software, and exception-based reporting.
- Experience with AP software management and system administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong team leadership, relationship building, and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Ability to travel quarterly to stores for special projects.
