About the role

This position manages a team of Inventory Analysts. The Inventory Manager is responsible for the in-stock and inventory turnover performance of the product categories owned by their Inventory Analysts. In addition, the Inventory Manager partners with the Senior Director Regional Operations (SDRO) and is responsible for customer service in all stores for that specific region(s).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key contact to support the CEMs local market needs and ensure CEM requests are completed on a timely basis.
  • Deliver purchase orders for their product categories and lead the Open to Buy process, ensuring category strategies align to financial goals.
  • Develop ad-hoc analyses to evaluate and address inventory management issues, including visual presentation levels, service level goals, ordering unit optimization, and Job Size analysis.
  • Create and deliver ad hoc reporting as needed to partners in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Stores and Senior Executives.
  • Provide inventory guidance on Product Line Reviews (PLRs) conducted within their area of responsibility.
  • Serve as a key leader for all grand opening operations related to initial sets and subsequent flow backs to support successful new store launches.
  • Supply design requirements along with testing and rollout support of new inventory solutions, including new systems, reporting, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in General Business or related field (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
  • Three years of job-related experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • E3 Forecasting and Replenishment solution knowledge is a plus
