Senior Inventory Coordinator – Raw Materials & Network Storage

The Supply Chain function is critical to enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
As the Senior Inventory Coordinator – Raw Materials & Network Storage, you will serve as the primary inventory coordinator between Walnut operations, third-party warehouse operators, manufacturing sites, Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Quality, and Finance teams. This role ensures accurate inventory records, material availability, and inventory integrity across multiple systems and storage providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy across Walnut Distribution Center and multiple third-party warehouse and outside storage locations.
- Perform inventory reconciliation between SAP, warehouse management systems (WMS), vendor inventory portals, and warehouse inventory reports.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, adjustments, shortages, overages, damages, and inventory transaction issues.
- Monitor inventory movements, transfers, receipts, and consumption transactions to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between manufacturing plants, suppliers, and warehouse locations.
- Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting.
- Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc inventory reporting for Operations, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Leadership teams.
- Analyze inventory trends, storage utilization, inventory turns, and working capital opportunities.
- Utilize advanced Excel tools including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional logic, and reporting automation techniques.
- Serve as the primary inventory contact for third-party warehouse providers and outside storage partners.
- Coordinate inventory-related issue resolution with warehouse operators, suppliers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage inventory reporting and transaction activity through vendor inventory portals and warehouse systems.
- Monitor inventory-related service levels and compliance with operating requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Transportation, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Support production continuity through proactive inventory monitoring and issue resolution.
- Support annual inventory audits, warehouse-to-warehouse (W2W) reconciliations, month-end and year-end inventory validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in inventory management, inventory control, logistics coordination, supply chain operations, warehousing, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and remote warehouse operations.
- Experience supporting inventory operations across multiple warehouse locations preferred.
- Experience supporting inventory audits, cycle count programs, and financial inventory reconciliations.
- Food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), Advanced Microsoft Excel, inventory reconciliation and reporting, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be located in Walnut, CA or surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to be onsite daily in Walnut, CA.

Pay
$50,000 - $70,000 annually.
