Senior Inventory Control Coordinator

Core Responsibilities

  • Aids in the distribution of workload, ensuring transfers orders, material requests, and put-aways are handled according to SOPs and meeting departmental benchmarks.
  • Ensures materials are sequestered for designated use (projects, studies, etc.), and non-conforming materials are segregated and labeled in accordance with SOPs until dispositioned.
  • Maintains cold storage and warehouse storage naming conventions in accordance with department procedures; initiates creation and deletion of locations to ensure ERP and physical locations are accurate.
  • Contributes to maintaining the Cycle Count program; creates required count listing sheets, assigns cycle counts to various designees, and corrects inventory discrepancies as directed.
  • Creates NCMRs and Process Deviations to ensure proper disposition of material in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Processes transfer orders via ERP system, fulfilling orders from requesting departments to move material from Quarantine to Approved status in accordance with SOPs.
  • Ensures preventative maintenance such as scraping, defrosting is performed on cold storage equipment.
  • Collaborates with the Purchasing department in maintaining general inventory, adjusting PAR and Max inventory levels as consumption rates change.
  • Assists with internal and external audits.

Core Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 4+ years of applicable experience, including 2+ years in ISO 13485 or similar regulated industries.
  • An Associate’s degree, related certificate, or related course of study is advantageous.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Applied experience in an ERP system, particularly Oracle Cloud, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new software programs, including Oracle ERP system, is required.

Qualifications
