Senior Intelligence Analyst: Z Program

About the role

The Senior Intelligence Analyst will support the Iran South Asia (IRSA) group and other analytic groups within the International Assessments (IA) Program. They will perform analysis, lead projects, and present findings to sponsors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Guide and conduct independent research on sensitive, politically significant national security topics, focusing on foreign nuclear programs.
• Provide solutions to complex problems through in-depth analysis and present findings in support of sponsor and stakeholder objectives.
• Lead complex analytic tasks and contribute to the development of strategies and plans for national security issues.
• Develop proposals for analytic papers, studies, and research topics, and establish partnerships to secure funding and resources.
• Maintain security clearances and work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment.
• Work effectively across conflicting priorities, mentor staff, and champion large projects.
• Communicate and collaborate with external sponsors and IC stakeholders, presenting technical information clearly and effectively.

Requirements

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
• Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience working within the Intelligence Community on national security issues.
• Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams and successful project management.
• Expert-level knowledge in national security-related technical topics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to present analyses and meet with IC stakeholders.

• Experience developing proposals and establishing partnerships for multidisciplinary analytic studies.
• Proven success in leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing complex projects.
• Expert-level experience in developing innovative technical tools and research products.
• Recognized as a national subject matter expert in relevant technical fields.
• Highly effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Significant experience working with or for an Intelligence Community organization.
