Location: Arlington, VA. Full-time day shift with up to 25% travel, including two-month deployments to U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
About the role
SAIC is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the Department of War (DoW), Office of General Counsel (OGC). The analyst will join a mobile team traveling to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to assist with mission-critical legal and security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks in support of DoD-OGC priorities as directed by relevant court orders.
- Coordinate and interact daily with officials, agencies, and personnel while deployed.
- Assist with compliance of court orders and agreements under team lead supervision.
- Facilitate secure transmittal, processing, and transport of classified and controlled legal documents.
- Serve as action officer for issues related to court orders and keep the team lead informed of all activities and procedural issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (or 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- Minimum of five years of military or civilian intelligence, counterintelligence, law enforcement, or security experience.
- Experience working with classified materials and sensitive information, including knowledge of DoD security classification guidelines.
- Ability to deploy for two-month periods to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Desired Skills
- Experience working within the DoW, particularly on security and legal issues.
- Familiarity with the Department of Justice, Federal Court System, Federal Court of Appeals, and court-issued orders.
- Experience in tactical, strategic, signals, or counterintelligence roles.
- Graduate degree from an accredited institution.
Pay
Target salary range: $80,001 – $120,000, based on experience.
