About the role

The ARIA team plays a crucial role in facilitating Klaviyo's mission by ensuring seamless integration of various SaaS systems, databases, and cloud infrastructures, enabling our clients to derive actionable insights and drive their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of integrations across various SaaS platforms, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and well-documented, in alignment with Klaviyo’s growth strategy.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure integrations using AWS to ensure seamless data flow and process automation between Klaviyo and external SaaS systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced features of integration tools such as Workato or Mulesoft to automate repetitive tasks, increasing productivity and allowing our teams to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify integration needs and develop tailored solutions that enhance our product capabilities and customer experiences.
  • Ensure all integrations are secure and compliant with industry standards, protecting customer data and maintaining trust in Klaviyo's platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to quickly resolve issues, ensuring high system uptime and reliability, which is critical to customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation for integrations, providing clear guidelines and insights to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in integration processes by staying updated on industry trends and refining our approaches to meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with Customer Success teams to gather feedback on integration performance and incorporate enhancements that align with customer requirements and perceptions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share expertise on integration best practices, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.

Requirements

  • You possess at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing complex integrations using AWS, GitHub, and Python, demonstrating strong technical proficiency.
  • You have a deep understanding of automation tools such as Workato or Mulesoft, with experience in creating efficient workflows that improve system operations.
  • You are an excellent problem solver with a keen attention to detail, able to troubleshoot integration issues quickly and effectively.
  • You have a collaborative mindset, with proven experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams to achieve shared goals.
  • You are customer-focused and committed to delivering high-quality solutions that exceed expectations and drive business success.
  • You have strong communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner.
  • You are proactive and take ownership of your work, always seeking ways to improve processes and products.
  • You are adaptable and open to learning, eager to stay ahead of industry trends and continuously enhance your skills.

Qualifications

  • Nice to haves include experience with automating solutions in tools like Salesforce, familiarity with event-driven architectures and event streams, previous experience in a SaaS environment, knowledge of RESTful APIs, and understanding of database management and data warehousing.

Pay

Salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.

Schedule

This role is hybrid in our Boston, MA office. The in-office expectation is three (3) times per week.
