About the role

The Senior Integration and Test Engineer supports the RMWT GMI program, developing a global missile tracking ground prototyping effort. This includes the MEO Satellite Operations Center (MSOC), backup MSOC (BMSOC), and MEO Ground Entry Points (GEPs).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement manual and automated software unit and system-level tests in a CI/CD environment.
  • Determine the verification approach for system requirements and isolate software and system-level defects.
  • Conduct and participate in formal review events at customer sites with government stakeholders to validate system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical leadership as a key member of an Agile Scrum team.
  • Work closely with other team members to build, configure, and troubleshoot the system.
  • Develop and execute Integration and Test (I&T) plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Generate and maintain system documentation, including configuration baselines, rack diagrams, and test records.
  • Support system-level reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR) and readiness assessments.
  • Contribute to verification matrices, risk registers, and test reports for customer delivery.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with new software releases, verifying system functionality, and documenting test outcomes.
  • Experience with software process development, software case design, software procedure development, software execution, system evaluation, and software reporting.
  • Familiarity with the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission and/or satellite ground systems.
  • Proven ability to isolate and resolve system-level issues, provide design feedback, and implement corrective actions across interdependent components.
  • Demonstrated ability to train personnel on relevant applications, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple tests and demonstration events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive team approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Knowledge base of I&T on space systems, operational systems, and/or live, virtual, and constructive environments (LVC).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment, especially involving GitLab CI/CD, building and sing Docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues.
  • 2+ years experience modeling, integrating, and sing DOD space systems and subsystems, including systems, products, and interfaces across ground and space components.
  • Experience in automated web UI and API sing, with experience using frameworks or tools to validate end-to-end system behavior and data flows.
  • Experience with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration, test planning, test development, and test execution.
  • Experience with automated testing and data-driven development concepts, tools, and languages.
  • Experience with Agile development and digital engineering / MBSE approaches.

Benefits

Pay transparency: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $150,000 - $170,000.
