About the role
We are seeking a Senior Integrated Water Resources Planner/Engineer to join our Water Resources team. This role plays a crucial part in shaping how communities manage water for generations to come.
Responsibilities
- Plan and direct medium- to large-size planning and environmental compliance projects on behalf of the federal government
- Prepare, plan and analyze compliance documents
- Direct work of others in completion of required studies, documents and reports
- Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Experience with federal plan formulation requirements
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
- Experience with environmental impact issues, associated permit processes and documentation preparation/review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
- A minimum of 10 years technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
- Extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience
- Experience with federal plan formulation requirements

Pay
- The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $195,000 depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
