Senior Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Engineer (PE), Energy

About the Role

Halff has an opening for a Senior Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Engineer to join our growing Energy team out of our Texas or Oklahoma locations. The I&E Engineer will lead and support the design and execution of electrical power and instrumentation systems for midstream and upstream Oil & Gas and pipeline projects. This role combines technical design, project management support, and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and execution of electrical power and instrumentation systems for midstream and upstream Oil & Gas and pipeline projects.
• Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of I&E systems.
• Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Interact with clients to understand their needs, present project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically with midstream and upstream projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power and instrumentation systems design and implementation.
• Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in I&E engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to I&E systems.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for design and project management.
