Senior Instructor (Chemistry-Nuclear)
Job Summary
Develop instructional materials and conduct training for Chemistry technical training program. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training in the classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job. Maintain training programs in compliance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 12+ years of related experience OR;
- Certified Instructor (including 5+ years of experience) OR;
- RO or SRO (including 5+ years of experience) OR;
- Sr Instructor Training Cert from Dominion (including 5+ years of experience);
- In depth knowledge of instructional theory and design and SAT;
- Excellent verbal and written communication, good personal computer, operate various instrumentation and controls, problem solving;
- Analyze and develop training materials, train and lead others, interface with regulatory personnel and industry peers, informal leadership skills, ability to effectively communicate with regulators.
Education Requirements
Preferred Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Discipline: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Education Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred disciplines(s) listed above.
Special Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience and be certified as a qualified instructor for the material being presented;
- Instructors of licensed personnel who provide instruction on the simulator shall hold, or shall have held, a senior operator's license or have been certified for equivalent senior operator knowledge.

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range
$102,300 - $132,800
