Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted institutional business development strategy.
- Build relationships with senior contacts across adviser platforms, asset managers, fund complexes, and related organizations.
- Educate counterparties on our client's liquidity solutions for residual assets.
- Cook up with internal teams on diligence, documentation, and transaction execution.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, outreach, and pipeline activity.
- Represent our client in meetings, calls, conferences, and other business development settings.
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of experience in institutional sales, business development, relationship management, capital markets, asset management, prime brokerage, fund administration, securities services, or a related field.
- Existing relationships with institutional investment organizations and senior decision-makers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, persistent, and able to manage a long-cycle sales process.
- Experience with fund liquidation, asset servicing, restructuring, claims, legal finance, or alternative investments is a plus.
