Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.
- Oversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.
- Aid in coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records of construction activities.
- Support field inspection teams by providing technical assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives, to facilitate project success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience or NICET Level 3 with 6 years of experience or MEP trade license with 6 years of experience in construction engineering and inspection.
- Strong understanding of CTDOT CEI processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.
- Ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on transportation infrastructure projects including stations and facilities.
- Working knowledge of COMPASS and AASHTOWare ProjectNETTCP – Concrete Inspector, NETTCP – HMA Paving Inspector, and ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certifications.
- Professional Engineer License.
Pay
Compensation Range: $97,980.00 - $111,341.00
