Senior Inside Sales Representative - ( Electrical/ Construction )
As a Senior Representative in Inside Sales, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services. You will obtain, create, and upsell orders, ensuring customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will manage a book of larger, more complex accounts and be proficient in all aspects of the inside sales process, with a focus on proactive selling techniques to expand your account base. Collaboration with outside sales teams ensures collective goal achievement.
Responsibilities
- Meets and exceeds performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
- Markets products and offers value-added services.
- Develops strong business relationships to grow existing accounts and prospect for new opportunities within the account base.
- Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Stays abreast of new products and acquires and shares competitive knowledge.
- Reports industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
- May function as the lead for other Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) regarding processes, systems, and customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4-5 years of in-depth experience in Sales and Sales Administration.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a team environment and mentor/coach team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts.
- Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
- Ability to solve difficult and moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred sales experience in electrical or distribution environments.
- Ability to travel 0% - 25%.
Pay
$28.26 - $36.73 per hour. This amount reflects the reasonable range for this position, though actual offers may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or collective bargaining agreements. Eligible positions may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, with additional commission opportunities for certain sales roles based on performance.
