Senior Information Technology Project Manager
Project Portfolio Management
Own and maintain a consolidated view of all active IT projects across infrastructure, networking, analytics, and application development.
Establish and manage a prioritized project backlog in partnership with the CIO and department directors.
Run lightweight sprint cycles to drive incremental delivery on active workstreams.
Identify dependencies, resource conflicts, and scheduling risks across simultaneous projects before they become problems.
Develop and maintain project status dashboards, roadmaps, and executive-facing reporting.
PM Framework & Tooling
Build the IT project management framework from scratch - processes, templates, tracking, tools and communication cadences tailored to Suntecs environment.
Select and implement appropriate PM tooling (task tracking, documentation, status reporting) that the team will actually use.
Define how projects are initiated, scoped, approved, executed, closed with an IT context.
Define clear escalation paths and decision-making protocols.
IT Operations & Infrastructure Projects
Manage projects spanning network upgrades, server infrastructure, cloud migrations, hardware refresh cycles & end-user systems.
Cookordination with vendors, MSPs, and internal technical staff to keep infrastructure initiatives on track and within budget.
Ensure IT operations work is not crowded out by development priorities - both sides of the house get appropriate attention and resourcing.
Stakeholder Communication
Deliver regular, concise project status updates to IT leadership and executive stakeholders.
Facilitate working sessions with department leaders to gather requirements, align on priorities and manage expectations.
Act as a single point of accountability for project status - no one should have to chase down where something stands.
BI, Analytics & Development Projects
Manage the delivery of BI reporting, dashboard development, and data pipeline projects in coordination with BI & Analytics Director.
Serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical team members, translating requirements into actionable work.
Enforce scope discipline - maintain clear boundaries on what is in flight and push back on scope creep in a professional, structured manner.
