Job Summary
We are partnering with a global leader in internet infrastructure to find a Senior Information Security Engineer for a high-visibility, direct-hire role. This is not a monitoring, compliance, or SOC position. Instead, you will focus strictly on high-level engineering—acting as the primary technical owner for critical security tools across a massive hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Take Technical Ownership: Start your day by acting as the primary subject matter expert for key enterprise security platforms, ensuring they are highly available, integrated, and securely configured.
- Drive Automation: Spend focused, heads-down time building scripts and drag-and-drop workflows to eliminate manual, repetitive administrative tasks, allowing your team to focus on high-value engineering.
- Deploy and Optimize: Seamlessly deploy new security tool features, architect integrations, and optimize existing infrastructure to align with strict organizational security objectives.
- Manage the Lifecycle: Handle end-to-end lifecycle activities for critical systems, carefully planning capacity, executing patching and migrations, and decommissioning legacy applications.
- Evaluate New Tech: Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging, unselected security vendors, actively shaping the future of the organization's technology stack.
- Collaborate and Handoff: Partner directly with security operations teams to ensure the tools you build and maintain perfectly support operational workflows and daily business needs.

- 8+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in security engineering.
- 5+ years of specialized experience in network security.

- Solid foundation in both Windows and Linux server administration.
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background and credit check.
