Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Lead risk assessments to evaluate security threats and vulnerabilities
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits
- Proactively stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends
- Implement improvements to the compliance program based on evolving risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or related roles
- Experience with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI DSS)
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with compliance management tools and GRC platforms
