Senior Industrial Automation Engineer

About the role

ECI has an immediate opening for an experienced Industrial Automation engineer. The successful candidate will provide Automation & System Integration engineering services in the manufacturing & power generation industries. A remote/hybrid work option would be considered for applicants that have extensive experience in industrial automation or process control.

Responsibilities

• Programming devices such as Programmable Logic Controllers
• Configuration of network switches
• Development of logic diagrams & electrical drawings
• Configuration of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
• Technical reviews of drawings and device settings

Requirements

• BSEE, BSEET or MSEE preferred; BSME, BSMET or other degrees with significant heavy industrial controls and automation background will be considered
• 4+ years direct experience in industrial automation or process control or combination of education and experience
• P.E. preferred
• Subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
• Occasional travel/driving required; subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements
• Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B) now or in the future
