About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to clients in their homes. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
  • Develop close relationships with clients while assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
  • Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding, range of motion/exercises, and assisting with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
  • Remind clients of medication schedules.

Requirements

  • At least one year of work experience as a CNA.
  • Active CNA license registered with North Carolina in good standing.
  • Compliant with Bayada policy needed for home care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
