Senior Import/Export Specialist

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain HS/HTS classifications for semiconductor-related products
• Review and validate customs documentation and broker filings
• Serve as primary contact for audits and compliance inquiries with CBP
• Design and improve import/export processes and governance controls
• Develop compliance monitoring metrics and exception reporting
• Lead automation initiatives and global process standardization projects
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with trade regulations

Requirements

• 5-7 years related work experience in import/export compliance
• Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and ECCN classification
• Experience with trade management systems like SAP GTS
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
• Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights

Qualifications

• Certification such as LCB, CCS, or CES is preferred
• Advanced skills in Power BI and Excel

Pay

$100,000 – $170,000 annually
