Responsibilities
- Participates in technical definition of the equipment’s.
- Collaborates with the CAPEX Procurement and Project Engineering (CPPE) team in developing and implementing technical projects and layouts.
- Contributes to project timelines, communicating status updates to the manager.
- Supports equipment selection for new projects and follow up on purchases, including Pre-Delivery, Factory, and Site Acceptance Tests.
- Develops knowledge research and shares best industry practices initiatives.
- Supports the Innovation Lab with New Product Development (NPD) projects and provides process support throughout the development and industrialization of new products and machine platforms.
- Sets up training on process, operation and maintenance of equipment for Logoplaste Academy and Operations.
- Establishes good relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Instigates the layout design to meet the customer and internal specifications.
- Performs process optimization within the existing plants.
- Reviews tooling maintenance and machine parameters to ensure best practices are being followed.
- Works with Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM's) to improve equipment design and process capabilities.
- Performs pre-delivery inspections.
- Supervises transport and installation of equipment.
- Supervises start and commissioning activities.
- Ensures equipment performs correctly and according to contract.
- Trains teams to have the necessary skills to perform maintenance tasks effectively according to Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) & Logoplaste PM schedules.
- Implements condition-based maintenance (monitor parameters to detect early signs of potential breakdowns).
- Provides APM support to plants, taking the lead in organizing with local site teams to ensure correct parts and resources are available, ensuring effective planned shutdowns.
- Follows up with OEM's and local teams to ensure correct interventions are undertaken and works with suppliers to rectify problems with parts and services.
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years required in industrial environment, ideally from manufacturing or OEM for Injection molding machines and molds.
- Knowledge and experience in PET area is a plus.
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required - Industrial or Mechanical or Automation Engineering
