Senior I&E Controls Specialist

Responsibilities

• Interact with site I&E team for instrumentation repairs and calibrations
• Instruct and direct the work of contractors
• Order parts
• Manage work orders and the work order system
• Manage critical spare parts

Requirements

• Experience working with ABB DCS and AB Programmable Logic Controllers
• DCS and PLC programming from different manufacturers
• Tuning and troubleshooting of analog loops
• Computer networking and familiarity with TCP/IP networks
• Using industry standards to improve site PCN reliability and cyber security
• Training/Certification in ABB and AB Hardware/Software
• Training in ABB and AB Networking Standards
• VMware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering-Electrical, Chemical, Automation/Instrumentation preferred
• 5 plus years of control system experience
• Proficient in plant control system maintenance and design
• Proficient in process and instrumentation diagrams
• Proficient in PLC Ladder logic trees
