About the role

The State of Wyoming is seeking a skilled Senior HVAC Technician to maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in various government buildings. This role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Install and replace HVAC units, ducts, and related components.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Document service and maintenance work.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

• Possess an HVAC Journeyman or equivalent technician license, or an EPA license.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycle, refrigerants, air conditioning, and related air handling equipment.
• Experience with acceptable practices, methods, and tools used in HVAC-R installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications

• Prior HVAC work experience (3-4 years).
• Education: Associate's degree or higher in HVAC-related field preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and at various heights.
• Ability to walk long distances.

Pay
