Senior HVAC Installation Technician
About the role
Complete Comfort is looking for an experienced HVAC Installation Technician to take ownership of residential and light commercial installation projects from start to finish. This hands‑on position is ideal for someone with 5+ years of HVAC installation experience who can produce quality work, guide other installers, and keep projects moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Complete residential and light commercial HVAC installations.
- Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, ventilation equipment, and related components.
- Take responsibility for installation projects from preparation through completion.
- Help direct and train installation helpers and other crew members.
- Verify installations meet company quality standards and applicable codes.
- Identify and resolve installation issues in the field.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
- Explain new HVAC systems and basic operation to homeowners.
- Coordinate with dispatch and project teams to keep installations on schedule.
- Ensure equipment is installed correctly, efficiently, and safely.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on HVAC installation experience.
- Previous crew lead or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and code requirements.
- EPA certification required; Universal preferred.
- Experience with Trane, Mitsubishi, or Generac is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the installation team.
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
Compensation
$28–$38 per hour with performance bonuses, equating to $65,000–$85,000+ annual earnings potential.
